About Our Ingredients

We believe that what you put on your skin matters, which is why we are passionate about crafting soap that is gentle, nourishing, and free from harsh chemicals. From soothing botanical extracts to luxurious oils and butters, each ingredient plays a vital role in providing you with a truly indulgent and nurturing bathing experience.

We do not use any Fragrance Oils in any of our products. All our oils are essential oils or absolute form of the oils. All our powders and colorants are plant-based.

Carbo Activatus (Activated Charcoal) Powder: Activated Charcoal is a form of carbon that has been treated to increase its adsorption capacity. It is derived from various sources, such as wood, coconut shells, or coal, and processed to create a highly porous substance. Activated Charcoal is widely used in skincare for its ability to draw out impurities, toxins, and excess oil from the skin. It acts like a magnet, attracting and trapping dirt and pollutants, helping to unclog pores and detoxify the skin. It is commonly found in masks, cleansers, and exfoliators.
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil: Castor oil is a rich emollient that contributes to the lather and texture of the soap. It helps to create a luxurious, creamy feel while providing moisture to the skin. Castor oil also has humectant properties, attracting and retaining moisture for a hydrated and smooth complexion.
Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter: Cocoa seed butter, derived from cocoa beans, is a velvety ingredient known for its indulgent texture and heavenly aroma. It forms a protective barrier on the skin, sealing in moisture and providing long-lasting hydration. Rich in antioxidants, cocoa butter helps to nourish and soothe dry, irritated skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple.
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: Coconut oil is a versatile ingredient that provides excellent cleansing and moisturizing benefits. It creates a rich lather that gently removes impurities while locking in moisture, making your skin feel refreshed and hydrated. Its antimicrobial properties also help promote healthy, clear skin.
Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Leaf Oil: Eucalyptus Leaf Oil is derived from the leaves of the Eucalyptus globulus tree. It is known for its refreshing and invigorating scent as well as its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. In skincare, Eucalyptus Leaf Oil is commonly used in cleansers and toners due to its ability to cleanse and purify the skin, helping to remove excess oil and impurities. It can also provide a cooling sensation and may help soothe minor skin irritations. However, it is important to note that some individuals may be sensitive to eucalyptus oil, so it should be used with caution.
Aveena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour: Oat Kernel Flour is derived from the ground kernels of the Aveena sativa plant, commonly known as oats. It has long been recognized for its soothing and nourishing properties, especially for sensitive or irritated skin. Oat Kernel Flour contains natural compounds like beta-glucans, which help to hydrate the skin, reduce inflammation, and strengthen the skin barrier. It is often used in skincare products aimed at calming and comforting the skin, such as moisturizers, masks, and body care items. Oat-based products are also known for their gentle exfoliating properties, helping to remove dead skin cells and promote a smoother complexion.

Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil: Known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties, olive oil is a key ingredient in our bar soaps. Packed with antioxidants and healthy fats, it helps replenish and hydrate the skin, leaving it feeling soft, supple, and rejuvenated.

Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Powder: Peppermint Leaf Powder is made from dried peppermint leaves. Peppermint is a hybrid mint plant, and its leaves contain menthol, which gives it a cooling and tingling sensation. In skincare, Peppermint Leaf Powder is used for its refreshing and invigorating properties. It can help soothe itchy or irritated skin, provide a cooling effect, and promote a refreshed appearance. Peppermint Leaf Powder is often found in exfoliating products like scrubs or masks, helping to gently remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation. However, it’s worth noting that some individuals may be sensitive to peppermint, so it’s advisable to perform a patch test before using products containing this ingredient.
Hydrogenated Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Derived from the nuts of the shea tree, shea butter is a luxurious ingredient known for its exceptional moisturizing and emollient properties. It deeply nourishes the skin, soothes dryness, and helps improve elasticity, leaving your skin feeling supple and smooth.
Sodium Hydroxide: Sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, is an essential component in the soap-making process. It acts as a catalyst, allowing the oils and butters to undergo a chemical reaction called saponification, transforming them into soap. During this reaction, lye is completely consumed, leaving behind a gentle and cleansing bar of soap.
Mentha Spicata (Spearmint) Oil: Spearmint Oil is extracted from the leaves of the Mentha spicata plant, a species of mint. It has a refreshing, minty aroma and is often used in skincare products for its cooling and soothing properties. Spearmint Oil can help calm irritated skin, reduce redness, and provide a fresh sensation. It is commonly found in cleansers, toners, and masks, offering a revitalizing experience and contributing to a refreshed complexion.
Melaleuca Alternafolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil: Tea Tree Oil is a natural essential oil derived from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia plant, commonly known as the tea tree. It has been used for centuries due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Tea Tree Oil is known for its ability to combat acne-causing bacteria, reduce redness and inflammation, and promote a clearer complexion. It is often used in skincare products like cleansers, spot treatments, and moisturizers.
